Reus Airport Spain cheap flights and routes routes all routes for this summer 2016

For Reus Airport the summer season will begin the first weekend of April with many more airlines increasing their presence. More flights to Moscow and Amsterdam together with many new destinations. Most European airlines are planning to increase their services to Reus in preparation for the opening of Ferrari world in Salou next year.

Reus Airport, have announced that this summer they will offer more than 415,000 seats, representing a significant increase of around 17% compared to the previous season. Destinations include the Netherlands, Britain, Belgium and Ireland.

Coral Travel, will start operating its Russian flights on 30 April, a month earlier than in 2015 and will expand its weekly flights from two to three . This will result in a capacity of 13,000 seats, 60% more than last season.

Ryanair,  will offer some 153,000 places (8% more than in 2015) on nine different routes. The Irish airline returns services this summer to Glasgow (Prestwick) , Liverpool. The route from Reus to Palma de Mallorca, remains closed, there is no change on the decision.

Jet2.com the other low-cost airline with flights mainly to the north of England and Ireland, will also start their service early this year. They are a relative newcomer to Reus airport but they are very keen to increase their capacity and will make available 68,000 seats an increase of 50% over last year.

Next year will see a major increase in the number of destinations, frequency of service and the number of operators both scheduled and charter due mainly to the opening of Ferrari Land a new major international themepark based on the Ferrari Formula One racing cars.

Charter airlines for this year include a newcomer, Sunweb,who start their flights to Amsterdam from July until the end of August, with a capacity of 3000 seats. Unfortunately at the present time there is no information available on Sunweb website on how to book a flight. Please let us know on the blog below if you find any more information.

Most charter flight operators will sell flights to individuals to fill empty seats. 

Thomas Cook UK and TUI-UK Ireland will be the two tour operators with a more noticeable presence during the summer months. The former will be operating up to eight routes with a capacity of 52,000 seats, an an increase of 13% compared to the last year.

With regards TUI-UK Ireland, the increase will be 6% with a capacity of 110,000 seats and a new route to Knock Airport. In both cases, their operations will begin on 1st May with flights to Belfast and Newcastle.
